  My Story

  My name is Maya Oren-Dahan and I am a face behind Maya Crafts. I am a self-taught artist that discovered a passion for making things early in the childhood, when I first picked up a pair of knitting needles. Only later in life did I realize that being creative is much more than a hobby for me. I express myself through different mediums: paper, fibers, metal and beads. I design and make jewelry and home decor and also I work with people who want to bring more creativity into their lives. I love working with children, there unapologetic creativity inspires me and gives me joy.

  שמי מאיה אורן-דהן ואני הפנים מאחורי מאיה אומנות. אני אמנית אוטודידקטית שגילתה את התשוקה ליצור דברים בתחילת הילדות, כשהרמתי לראשונה זוג מסרגות. רק מאוחר יותר בחיים הבנתי שלהיות יצירתי זה הרבה יותר מתחביב בשבילי. אני מבטא את עצמי באמצעות: נייר, סיבים, מתכת וחרוזים. אני מעצבת ומייצרת תכשיטים ועיצוב הבית וגם אני עובדת עם אנשים שרוצים להכניס יותר יצירתיות לחייהם. אני אוהבת לעבוד עם ילדים, שם היצירתיות הלא מתנצלת מעוררת בי השראה ונותנת לי שמחה.
