OFEK: Learn Hebrew, Israeli Spirit, Israeli Innovation, Enrichment, and more
The course is taught in Hebrew and English and is intended for students who do not speak the Hebrew language and who do not know how to read and write. Meetings will be held once a week for 45-50 minutes and will be dedicated to learning the Hebrew language while focusing on the acquisition of language skills: speaking and listening, recognizing letters and sounds.
All this while being exposed to vocabulary and content from Israeli culture.
Participants will receive tasks to practice at home for maximum assimilation of what is learned in class.
In the course we will learn:
Speaking and listening – basic conversation in Hebrew
Identifying and knowing the letters and sounds Expanding vocabulary

הקורס מועבר בעברית ובאנגלית. הקורס מיועד לתלמידים שאינם דוברי השפה העברית ושאינם יודעים לקרוא ולכתוב. המפגשים ייערכו אחת לשבוע במשך 45-50 דקות התרכזות בלימוד השפה העברית תוך התמקדות ברכישת מיומנויות השפה: דיבור והאזנה, זיהוי והכרת אותיות וצלילים. כל זאת תוך חשיפה לאוצר מילים ותכנים מהתרבות הישראלית.
המשתתפים יקבלו משימות לתרגול בבית להטמעה מירבית של הנלמד בשיעור.
