Roman was born and grew up in the USSR (now Russia). At age 17 he made Aliyah and moved to Israel. Roman wanted to be a teacher since he can remember. His childhood dream came true and for about 20 years Roman had his educational career in Israel, teaching History, Hebrew and Civics in Middle school and High school. (After 3 years in the Israel Defense Forces). Since Roman received his Master’s degree in Educational Counseling (with honors) from Bar – Ilan University, he worked as a High School Counselor. His Bachelor’s degree and Teacher’s Credential are in History. He obtained a Master’s degree in teaching Hebrew as a second language at Middlebury College, Vermont and currently I am studying in the Doctoral program at this college.
After Roman immigrated to the U.S with his wife and daughter, he continued to teach. He now teaches Hebrew at one of the Jewish High schools in sunny California, Los Angeles.
