  My Story

  Shalom I’m Raz, a Hebrew teacher, Jewish educator, and a performer based in New York. I have over two decades of experience teaching in numerous schools and Jewish community centers. I prepare young adults for their Bar/Bat Mitzvah and share the passion for quality training of youth. Dancing was the focus of my life growing up. Born and raised in Jerusalem, I was a part of the performing arts community and taught dance to children for many years. When arriving in The States, I had the opportunity to perform with my dance company at the Disney World Great Adventure. After this fantastic experience, I studied acting at Sande Shurin’s NYC School, and after a few years in the business and a couple of films, I’ve recorded my debut album Raziel “ONE”, and in 2020, I released a music video for my single “Down”.

  I believe that studying Hebrew can be a lot of fun and that every child has a unique way of learning, so I prepared a program with lots of games and adventures that are both fun and challenging, from absolute beginners’ level to highly advanced materials. I take my passion for the performing arts and bring it to life in class.

  רז הוא מורה לעברית עם נסיון של שני עשורים במסגרות שונות ללימוד עברית בניו יורק.
  בנוסף לכך הוא מכין בני מצווה בחניכה לערכים יהודים הומניים מתוך זוית הבוחנת את הקשר האישי למורשת המשפחתית ולעם ישראל.

  הוא גם מוזיקאי שהקליט אלבום שירים מקוריים והופיע בארץ ובחו׳ל.
  את חיידק הבמה קבל בגיל צעיר כשהחל לרקוד ולהופיע בלהקות מחול בירושלים.
  כאשר הגיע לניו יורק, לפני שני עשורים וקצת,למד משחק והשתתף בכמה הפקות עצמאיות.
