  My Story

  My name is Avital Fux. I have been living in the Boston area for the last 15 years with my husband Arik, and our 3 daughters – Ori (16), Arbell (13) and Ayala (9). I’m an educational counselor, as well as a parent coach, and couples counselor. I have practiced these areas in the US and in Israel, working with parents and school staff. In my work, I help Israeli families who relocated out of Israel, cope with the challenges that come up as kids and parents grow up. I believe it is worth investing in parenting skills, as parenthood is the best investment there is. A lot of things can be temporary – friendships, work, where we live. However, our kids, our families are forever. The sooner we start building positive relationships with our kids, based on understanding and mutual respect, we will lead more pleasant lives, and lead to long term close and warm family relationships.

  נעים מאד, שמי אביטל פוקס ואני גרה בבוסטון ב 15 שנים האחרונות. אני נשואה לאריק, ואמא ל 3 בנות- אורי (בת 16), ארבל (בת 13) ואיילה (בת 9). במקצועי אני יועצת חינוכית, מדריכת הורים ויועצת זוגית. בעלת נסיון בארצות הברית וגם בישראל בהנחיית הורים וצוותים חינוכיים. בעבודה שלי אני עוזרת להורים ישראלים שגרים מחוץ לישראל, להתמודד עם אתגרים שצצים בזמן שהילדים וגם אנחנו גדלים. אני מאמינה ששווה להשקיע בתפקיד ההורות, כי זו ההשקעה המשתלמת ביותר לטווח הארוך. כמעט הכל בר חלוף – חברים, עבודה, מקום מגורים…אבל הילדים שלנו, המשפחה זה לכל החיים. ככל שמתחילים מוקדם יותר בבניית קשרים חיוביים עם הילדים, המבוססים על הבנה וכבוד הדדי, החיים לכולם נעימים יותר ובטווח הארוך היחסים המשפחתיים קרובים וחמים יותר.
