Ofek Learning Hub: Learn Hebrew, Israeli Spirit, Israeli Innovation, Enrichment, and more
Adrian lives in San Francisco, California where she creates programs and teach about the Holocaust and genocide. Some people feel that this is depressing work, but she finds great inspiration in the struggle and heroism of those who perished and those who survived. Adrian is the executive director of the Farkas Center, an organization dedicated to preserving the history of the Holocaust for future generations. The Farkas Center is known for its innovative programs linking Holocaust history to how we act locally and globally in our world today so that the slogan, “Never again!” can become a reality for all people. Prior to this, Adrian designed an educator fellowship that took high school teachers to Yad VaShem in Jerusalem for intensive Holocaust study. She grew up in Brooklyn, NY but now calls San Francisco her home.
