Exploring what makes Israel Unique: The Land – The people – The History.

Israel holds a central place in our collective narrative. We will dive into the intricate historical layers of Israel, its language, and its art.

Students can gain a deeper understanding of how Israel’s history, language, and arts resonate with their own lives and find their own connection to Israel.

New course at OFEK for youth (4th-6th) in the upcoming academic year! The course “Israel 101″ consists of 8 captivating sessions where we will explore and discuss the following topics:

• History of Israel and the Jewish people. 
• Circles of identity: Tikkun Olam, connections, and values. 
• Discovering my place and role in the community: Can I make a difference? 
• Unveiling the Holocaust: Its causes and impact.
• Immersing in Hebrew (Slang, cool new words, songs.) and contemporary Israeli culture. 
• Spotlight on Jewish heroes and their contribution to the state of Israel.

Each session is once a week for 45 minutes
