Level 2 Advanced is intended for students who already speak some Hebrew and can read and write. At this level, students will have more advanced conversations, listen to the news, songs, videos, etc., as well as read short articles in Hebrew, stories, etc.

In this course, we will learn:

• Introductions: How to introduce yourself
• The state of Israel: history & symbols
• The Hebrew Language: History & How to conduct a conversation
• The Israeli culture: values & manners
• The Sabra – how did it become the symbol of the Israelis?
• Israel National Trail – the different trails, the meanings behind its symbols, and getting familiar with its popular locations
• The different cities and top locations in Israel
• Public transportation
• Israeli / Jewish holidays
• Israeli food
• The challenges of every beginning – the importance of having a support system
