A book club with a special twist. No need to read a 400-page novel. Grab your coffee or cocktail and join us for this special encounter. Unlike standard book clubs, this course is built on discussions of short stories, songs / poems, and original and translated literature.

Yael, an experienced group discussion facilitator, will read the literature aloud (a short story or a few poems), and lead a conversation about life, relationships, love, parenting, social justice, and much more.

In this series, we are going to read mostly from writings by modern and young Israeli poets such as Maya Tevet Dayan, Tehila Chakimi, Adi Keysar and Roy Chasan. We will also read from the work of Aharon Almog – a respected writer who passed away recently.

Relevant material will be sent beforehand.
