A Trip Through Israel 3rd-6th Grade

“Take your backpack and a walking stick” – and join us on a trip through Israel. We invite you to join us in discovering Israel from a different point of view. We will tour Israel from North to South and from East to West.

We will learn how to plan a trip and, through videos and photos, will discover an ancient and modern Israel – a fashionable and adventurous country. We will float in the Dead Sea and dive with dolphins in the Dolphin Reef in Eilat. We will walk through the Siloam tunnel in Jerusalem’s City of David, and harvest and crush grapes to make wine in the way of old in The Golan Heights. We will visit a kibbutz and try dancing a Druze Debka, and we will even raft in the Jordan river and rappel the Keshet cave. Through these diverse experiences, we will learn history, geology, ideology, get a taste of the local cuisine, and experience much of what Israel has to offer.

This course is offered several times during the year with the same content.
